CarVerse Epic Find of the Day: Ferrari F50
Thursday, June 7th, 2018The Ferrari F50 is an often overlooked Ferrari even though it is one of the Italian company’s incredible, limited run halo cars. The F40 seems to get the majority of the praise. It is the grandfather to all of Ferrari’s top of the line, limited cars, and it was the first road legal turbo Ferrari to reach 200 mph. Considering its pedigree, this legendary rare Ferrari is up for sale, and it could be yours....if your pockets are deep enough
So where does the F50 fit into history? The F50 reaches 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. It’s also the rarest of the halo cars, with only 349 made, and a well-finished, fully streetable supercar, unlike the F40, which is held together by greenish glue and hope. Yet it still provides an old school experience with analog controls and freedom from traction control, stability control, launch control, etc.
The 4.7-liter V12 pumps out 513hp and 347 lb-ft of torque, and this particular example looks brilliant and is super clean. It also has all services performed by Ferrari on record and includes all of its extras like the luggage and books. The asking price is $1,000,000 for this F50 with only 8,986 miles on it. Head over to the DuPont Registry to contact the seller.
